Welcome to Meiphor! At Meiphor, customer satisfaction is our priority. This policy outlines our cancellation, return, and refund procedures to protect your rights as a customer.
⚠️ Important Notice: This policy is designed to comply with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations and provides customers with a 30-day return window. All returns must follow the procedures outlined below to be eligible for refunds.
1. Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
In accordance with FTC regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 3 business days of purchase for any reason and receive a full refund of the purchase price.
To cancel within the cooling-off period:

- Provide your order number and reason for cancellation
- Request will be processed within 1 business day
- Refund will be issued to your original payment method
2. 30-Day Return Window
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of purchase for unopened, unused products in original packaging. This window applies to all items purchased from Meiphor.
Return Eligibility:
- Physical books must be unopened and unread
- All original packaging must be intact
- All included materials and inserts must be present
- Products showing signs of use are not eligible for return
- Digital content (app access codes) are non-returnable once activated
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Digital app access codes (once activated)
- Opened or used books
- Books with damaged packaging
- Items damaged by customer misuse or negligence
- Items without proof of purchase
- Items purchased more than 30 days ago
- Customized or personalized items
- Items purchased from third-party sellers (unless authorized)
4. Return Procedure
Step 1: Request Authorization
- Contact us with your order number
- Provide reason for return
- Include photos if returning due to damage or defect
Step 2: Receive Return Instructions
- We will provide a return shipping label (prepaid)
- Return authorization number will be assigned
- Instructions will include destination address
Step 3: Ship the Return
- Package items securely in original packaging
- Include return authorization number
- Use provided shipping label
- Keep tracking information for your records
Step 4: Refund Processing
- We will inspect returned items upon receipt
- Eligible returns will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refund will be credited to original payment method
- You will receive email confirmation of refund
5. Return Shipping
For returns within the 30-day window, we provide prepaid return shipping labels at no cost to you. Simply:
- Request a return from our customer service
- Receive a prepaid shipping label via email
- Print and attach the label to your package
- Drop off at any carrier location

7. Refund Amount
What is Refunded:
- Product purchase price (full amount)
- Applicable taxes
What is NOT Refunded:
- Original shipping charges (unless return is due to our error or defective product)
- Return shipping charges (we provide prepaid labels)
- Any fees charged by payment processors
- Custom or rush fees
8. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product:
- Contact us immediately with photos of the damage
- Provide order number and description of the issue
- We will arrange replacement or refund at no cost
- Return shipping label will be provided
- Original shipping costs will be refunded
Damage Claims: Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery for liability purposes.
9. Cancellation of Unshipped Orders
If your order has not yet shipped:
- You can cancel for a full refund of the purchase price
- Contact us immediately with your order number
- Cancellation must be requested before order ships
- Refund will be processed to original payment method
- Refund will appear within 3-5 business days
10. Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during purchase:
- Credit/Debit Card: Refund appears within 5-10 business days
- PayPal/Digital Wallet: Refund appears within 3-5 business days
- Bank Transfer: Refund appears within 5-10 business days
We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method than the original purchase.
11. Partial Returns
If you purchased multiple items and are returning only some:
- You will receive a refund only for returned items
- Returned items must be eligible for return
- Shipping cost for partial return is covered by us (prepaid label provided)
12. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item:
- Return the original item per our return procedure
- Place a new order for the replacement item
- Receive refund for the returned item
- Original shipping charges are not refundable
13. Bulk Orders and Special Cases
For bulk orders (10+ items) or special purchases, return eligibility may differ. Contact us for terms before making bulk purchases.
14. Restocking Fee
We do not charge restocking fees for eligible returns within the 30-day window. However, if a package is refused or unclaimed, a restocking fee of 15% may apply.
15. Lost or Undelivered Returns
If your return package is lost in transit:
- You are responsible for the shipping loss (that's why we recommend tracking)
- Use the tracking number we provide with your return label
- If your return shows as delivered but we did not receive it, file a claim with the carrier
- We will refund the item once the claim is resolved
16. Return Inspection
All returned items are inspected for:
- Condition and signs of use
- Completeness of all original items and packaging
- Compliance with return eligibility requirements
If items do not meet return criteria, we will contact you to explain why the return was not accepted.
17. Store Credit Alternative
If you prefer not to receive a refund, we offer store credit equal to 110% of the original purchase price (bonus 10%). Store credit is valid for 1 year from the date of credit.
18. Failed Returns
If a return does not qualify for refund due to condition or other reasons:
- We will notify you within 5 business days
- You can choose to:
- Accept store credit instead
- Request return of the item at your expense
- Donate the item to charity (we'll provide tax documentation)
19. Dispute Resolution
If you believe a return was incorrectly denied:
- Contact us within 14 days of denial notice
- Provide evidence supporting your claim
- We will review and respond within 5 business days
- If still unresolved, you may escalate to dispute process
20. Chargeback and Dispute Reversal
If you file a chargeback with your credit card company or payment processor before exhausting our return process, we may:
- Charge a chargeback fee of $25-$50
- Close your account
- Pursue legal action to recover funds

25. Warranty Information
Limited Warranty: All Meiphor products come with a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for 1 year from date of purchase. This warranty covers:
- Defective binding or pages
- Print quality issues
- Material defects
Warranty does NOT cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Customer damage or misuse
- Age-related deterioration
